Police in arrest over odd-job man who 'targeted' Selby pensioner
Police officers investigating the case of a cold-caller who allegedly took money in exchange for jobs he didn't carry out, have made an arrest.

This morning the police have confirmed that they have taken a 22 year-old man, from the local area, into their custody as a result of the appeal.
The man will be questioned in relation to accusations that a young man took £80 to carry out repairs to the fence of a 71-year-old woman in Bright Walk. The repairs were not carried out.
News of the arrest comes less than 24 hours after Selby Police made their appeal for information in relation to the incident.
