Booming sales make Selby top property hotspot
A massive spike in the number of homes sold in the Selby area have propelled our town into a list of the country's top property hotspots.

New research, undertaken by Lloyds Banking Group, shows home sales in the Selby area have jumped by a staggering 48% during the period of the study. The study used data from Land Registry sources to compare the number of property sales in the first 10 months of last year with those in the same period from 2013.
Analysis of their findings showed a staggering increase in Selby area sales and places Selby at fifth on a nationwide list of towns where property sales are booming.
