A woman has had to be cut free of the car she was driving after becoming involved in a serious crash in North Duffield.
Emergency services were called to attend the incident at the junction of Selby Road and Broadmanor during Sunday lunchtime.
The driver of the vehicle was trapped inside the vehicle and required the assistance of North Yorkshire Fire Service to cut her out. Once free she was taken to hospital by ambulance.
