Selby area unemployment falls for eighth time in row
The number residents claiming unemployment benefit in the Selby area has continued to fall, new figures have revealed.

Figures released by the Office for National Statistics show the number of Selebians claiming Job Seekers' Allowance stood at 1,080 on October 10th. This compares favourably against the 1,150 claiming in the previous month.
November’s figures mark the eighth consecutive month in which the claimant count has fallen in the area.
