Council wants views on how users access services

schedule

Selby District Council are urging local residents and businesses to take part in a survey on how they use council services

The council wants to know people access their services and whether they prefer to do so online, by visiting their contact centre or with a good old-fashioned phone call.

Julie Slatter, the authority's new director of corporate services and commissioning, said: “The way customers use our services is changing. Some prefer to contact us online, others find it more convenient to call us or visit us in person.

“We’re using this survey to help us to better understand how our customers get the information, services or support they need. The information we collect will help us to map out how our customers make contact with us and where we can improve the way they do this.

“It’s important that as many people as possible take part in the survey.”

Questions included in the survey include which services customers are accessing, how often they contact the council and preferred methods for accessing council services.

The survey is anonymous and runs until April, 30th.
