A man whose body was found in a field near Selby has been identified, police have confirmed.
Christopher Sowden, 51, was discovered at the weekend, close to Mill Field Farm in Osgodby.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police confirmed that investigating officers do not believe there to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
They also thanked members of the public who had responded to an appeal to identify Mr. Sowden's body.
